Thomas El Hindi

77757 Hudson Avenue

77757 Hudson Avenue, West New York is the US home of Viscount Thomas El Hindi of York. The original Viscount of York, Sir Jasper El Hindi, was responsible for founding the town of Bergen Hills in New Jersey. The town was later renamed West New York in recognition of Viscount El Hindi’s home city. The Viscount’s former home in York was completely destroyed by fire and was never rebuilt, the grounds being converted into a nature reserve. Viscount Thomas’ grandfather purchased 2 acres of land at the far end of Hudson Avenue and had this magnificent home built. The building is now in the centre of West New York and is worth and estimated $8.4m. Extensive alterations have been made to the inside of the property which now has a full Olympic size swimming pool in the basement which the Viscount has filled with Champagne and a golf driving range on the 2nd floor. The El Hindi Corporation, whose registered office is at 77757 Hudson Avenue and is 100% owned by the Viscount, reported pre-tax profits of $1.2bn last year.
